The NSW Sustainable Schools Initiative can now be accessed by all NSW schools through the website: http://www.sustainableschools.nsw.edu.au Sustainable Schools NSW aims to assist school communities across NSW to teach important sustainability knowledge and concepts. It is jointly managed by the NSW Department of Education and Training and the NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change. Support is also provided by the Australian Government through the National Sustainable Schools Initiative. CEC,NSW has agreed to become a Sustainable Schools “Participating Organisation” and to this end is currently finalising a Memorandum of Understanding on Sustainable Schools partnership matters with the NSW Department of Environment and Climate Change.
